Updated 7/10/2020 - Executive Order 2020-147
Well, it has finally happened...Doggie Paws is back open and ready to get back to groming your Fur Babies! We made our decision based on the Governors recent press conferences and executive orders.
While we know that many of you have not had your pet groomed in many weeks, our groomers are making every effort to reschedule your appointments based on the previous appointment. Each groomer has kept track of these and are using that list to reschedule everyone. Please be patient with us, as we have many pets that are in need of grooming and are working diligently to get an appointment for everyone.
With this, we are making some changes to our operating guidelines (interaction, drop-off and pick-up). Many of these are common sense changes that can further keep our staff and you safe while the potential for Covid19 is still out there.
New operating process:
- One person in lobby at a time
- Please remain behind the shield at the counter
- A mask is required as part of Executive Order 2020-147 (UPDATED REQUIREMENT)
- If you are sick, please consider rescheduling
- Nail trims are by appointment only at this time
Updated April 27, 2020 -
Due to the Governors Executive Order 2020-59 (Covid19), we will be temporarily (completely) closed as of March 25th at 5pm. Initially we decided to remain open with restrictions in place, but upon further thought, decided that closing was the safest route to take for everyone. Based on this Executive order, we are now to remain closed until at least May 15th. We do not know the full extent of this closure at this time.
Those that have appointments during this closure window will be contacted by your groomer to reschedule existing appointments. If the closure extends beyond May 15th, anyone that has an appointment will be rescheduled for a later date. We will do everything we can to get each of you rescheduled after this closure requirement is lifted.
We will keep everyone updated throughout this closure to ensure you get an appointment booked or rescheduled.
Take care of your self, families and Furry Friends during this time. Regular brushing will keep your pets fur in great shape for when the shop re-opens and we can begin grooming again.
NOTE: With the most recent extension of this order, some less essential business were give the ability to reopen. Unfortunately Pet Grooming was not one that was specified. However, many groomers and clients alike are trying to get this changed. If changes are made, we will let everyone know.
